It was a very quiet time of year and I expected that. This was not needed for us so no comment there - however couch itself was modern and comfy. If there were more than 2 people in the suite, someone would have needed to use the pullout couch. The bed was comfy, the bathroom large, the jet tub worked well, the kitchen was updated and well equipped, the deck and BBQ were fine and the view was good as well. The suite was very very nice and I had zero issues. It's the oldest building and that had me a touch worried but there was no need. Other than those two things we very much enjoyed our stay - the wildlife were amazing and the natural grounds were lovely.Īs usual I read all the reviews before booking somewhere and sometimes the negative can scare you but I'm usually pretty good selecting places based on my taste and I was very happy with Bighorn. For an enhanced cleaning fee I would expect to not have to do all of that work OR if I am expected to do all that, a slightly later check out would have made for a smoother check out experience.

Charging an enhanced cleaning fee due to COVID plus having guests have to take out their own garbage, do the dishes, bag the linens AND check out by 10am (vs the standard 11am) made for a very rushed end to our trip. Cream in the room/fridge would have also been a nice touch.Ģ.

One pot of coffee included regardless of how many nights stay - any other hotel we have stayed at includes one pot/day. The areas for improvement are not major but would go a long way.ġ.

The full kitchen was very handy and we enjoyed the hot tubs without any issues (booking required during COVID). The fireplace was warm and cozy, as were the beds. The resort was well priced for the size and amenities and we so enjoyed the slower pace of this small town (and the hot springs of course!) This was our first trip to Radium after spending most of our Rockies vacations in Banff or Canmore.
